Does the Benq i221 have an inbuilt CD/DVD burner?

There are no drivers needed for optical units. If Nero can't recognize it then either Nero is corrupted - reinstall it - or the Benq unit is defective - before junking it try to update its firmware

If you have a desktop pc,open the flap that covers your burner.On the front of the burner itself you will see a small pinhole.and by using a strong paperclip push the end through the hole and it will open your burner.You may have to push hard .Hope this helps you.

What operating system are you using that you think you need a specific driver thor this burner?
My dual layer dvd burner just uses Windows drivers.
