I have a Gyration RF keyboard. I just got a Gyration RF mouse (to replace another brand of RF mouse I was previously using). The new Gyration mouse will not connect. I have charged it for days, however the lite on the bottom of the mouse is RED. When I put the mouse receiver into the USB port, Windows 7 tries to install the driver, but fails. When I try and connect the mouse to it's receiver it doesn't connect. The mouse doesn't work.

SOURCE: Gyration keyboard goes to sleep too quickly and then....

This sounds like an internal failure on the keyboard. It should not go to sleep. By removing the battery you are effectively resetting the internal logic. If the status light is on all of the time it may think it has (or have) a key stuck and is timing out to conserve battery life. If that is not the case it is time to contact Gyration Technical Support.

SOURCE: dropped keyboard

Instead of seeking repair replacing keyboard is your best bet. The mouse should work as long as you can plug in the receiver to the computer.

How to install Movea gyration wireles keyboard

This is what I read on the net. May help you too/
"Gyration Wireless Keyboard and MouseFor a few months now I've been happily using a Gyration Wireless Keyboard and Mouse for my Windows Media Center. I've been extremely happy with this combo. The mouse can be used without needing a table or surface (you just wave it in the air). It takes a while to get used to this, but once you do then you are free to walk around etc while you control the mouse. The mouse comes with a charging station and also has an optical sensor so that I can be used as a regular mouse.
They keyboard is very small, and is running on it's original set of batteries. It's perfect for MCE as I can easily hide it. Another bonus is that the keyboard requires no drivers and works on the BIOS screen in case you need to make any tweaks etc.
A few weeks ago, my mouse flaked out though. On Monday I finally got around to calling them. The support experience was fantastic. I got a human on the first ring and he told me to send it back to them (no need to find my receipt or anything). Today I got my replacement (total of 4 day turnaround). Now that's great service!"

Try using it. It really may not require a CD to install. Just plug it in and off you go. All the best.

How do i set up my gyration wireless mouse ???

Hi,

The Gyration air mouse is easy to use & install. Just plug in the USB receiver into available USB port, slide the Air mouse switch to on, press the connect button on the receiver & air mouse, your computer will automatically detect & install the device. “there are no drivers to manually install”
Please let us know if that was helpful enough.
Thanks
Shiv.

The audible noise is an indication that the internal Gyro has failed. There is no field fix for this problem. If the mouse is still under warranty have Gyration exchange the defective device for you.
