My JVC everio GZ-MG555us did not work with my HD laptop window Vista.

Dear Sir/Madame.

I have bought a JVC everio GZ-MG555us from Circuit City, A CD sftware came with this, But this CD did not support window vista. So I can not transfer my video and my images to my laptop. Would you please tell me What I have to do in order to transfer my video and images to my laptop??? Thanks.

When you plug in the camera XP should see it as an external drive.
You will need to copy all the MPG files over manually.
Check the JVC site regularly for a Vista software pack.

You need to buy JVC software CD that is available in JVC Accessories Store.
Above CD is for GZ-MG130 model, if your camcorder model is different, please check accordingly by typing model number in search bar at left side.

The short answer is that unless JVC have released a firmware upgrade to this model, currently its not support for use on vista.

unknow just means it dose not have a driver list for the device. go on their web paged for driver from the device web site. and install them from there.
