I will try your answer chack for my 2gb genx usb but is it not conecated and divise manegment not showing.but my usb port is working propely plc give me a solusion

Check if there is a small switch on the side of the USB drive (might show a lock and unlock symbol). If there is not and the drive came with no driover software and a utility to unlock, it is possibly faulty
This typically means the drive has gone bad. Try reformatting the USB drive. Some manufacturers also provide diagnostic/formatting tools on their website that might be able to fix it. But likely it will need replaced. Lucky 2GB USB drives now only run $7.99 or less.

If the usb port is NOT a 2.0→ it may NOT run.

the most defalt of option is reinstal the driver and check in the Device Manager the usb you have 3 usb root hub,1 enhanced pci to usb controler,update and try again,it should work.
common error with d1 usb machines. You should only use Husqvarna Viking usb memory sticks. That being said, I have found a few that will work, i.e. Ativa 2gb and Office Depot 2gb. Try holding the stick firmly in place to make sure you have good contact. Wait 1 full minute after the machine is started before trying to access the usb stick. If these things do not work, it could be the usb port or the pc board. These parts have a 5 year warranty to the original purchaser. Contact your local authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer for service or to have machine sent to Husqvarna Viking (VSM) Technical Service Division for repair. Have you tried every USB port? Do any other things work on your USB ports? Is it USB 2.0 and your computer only does USB 1.0? Have you tried the sandisk in another computer? Does the USB port feel loose when the sandisk is inserted? Sounds like the sandisk may be bad.
