The brackets in my wooden curio keep falling out. How do I prevent this?
How you go about this depends on if you don't mind it being a final solution. Do you care if you move and this piece is one piece, or break it down to eliminate damage. If you don't mind a final solution, then I recommend using Elmer's Glue or a wood glue. Elmer's will work perfectly for you. Before gluing each hole one third the way up, be sure you know which dowel goes to which hole. Work one side, let dry for 12 hours then do the other side...GTG.
Temporary solution is 1-2 drops in each hole. This way it will hold the dowels and if you decide to break down the unit, you can by twisting on the dowels. Just be careful not to use too much glue.
