Yes there is a fuse inside the unit and if you know what your are doing you can open it and replace the fuse with the same rating.And there are few features for the newer types like some are inglass enclosure and some are in a molded case and you can notice it with the part name "FS 1" and this types need soldering work.

where can i find driver for my epson CX2900???i already downloaded the driver for for my epson but it is the wrong one and it is only for printing, i need a driver for scanner so that my scanner will work. . .thanks in advance for those who willing to help. . .

read the manual of epson cx2900. you will see their how to install it then do the vice versa.

The SSC utility is not compatible with the CX2900 so that won't work.. You would need to locate and use an adjustment utility of the type used by Epson service technicians to be able to reset.

The only source that I currently know of for the CX2900 is available from 2manuals.com here

You may find it for free elsewhere but as yet I haven't found a copy.

Try to reset it :
SSC Utility has the latest version SSC Utility 4.30... This time it can now reset the Epson Stylus CX2900...
Download the latest version and Install it...
Under Configuration...
Select Installed Printer (EPSON Stylus CX2900 Series)
Under Printer Model
Select EPSON Stylus CX2800...

yah you can fix it self but i dont recomended it bec you must remove the head you can proably buy the belt from epson store and if it still under warranty find a service center near to help you
