I had the same problem as you although I was able to find a solution. If your bluetooth adapter on your computer doesn't support A2DP then you can purchase this adapter from IO Gear: http://www.iogear.com/product/GBU421/ or another adapter that supports this feature. Windows will try to install it as a generic bluetooth adapter (which wont allow you to pair the headset) but if you install the disk that comes with this, it will also install the additional drivers needed for the headset.
Walmart carries it for $20 at most stores or $13 online. I got mine at the store.

If you need help installing it let me know I can provide the steps I did.

I've found the ASUS Bluetooth utility works best with the IO Gear adapter. The IO Gear utiltiy has issues with Windows 7. Works well with Win XP though.

My iphone 4s can not find my 903

Once you make your iphone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 903 headset into pairing mode by pressing the power button until it flashes red and blue. If it's not flashing red and blue, it's not in the pairing mode. Below is a link for the user guide which has the pairing instructions:

When i listen to my music from my phone with my backbeat 903, the music skips like a sratched cd. why is this?

Here are a few things you can try to see if they will improve the quality of the sound:

You should always make sure that your mobile phone is located on the left side of your body and that there are no obstructions between it and your headphones.

Also make sure that your headphones are within 33 feet (10 meters) of your mobile phone. Going outside of this range can impact audio quality.

You can also try resetting the headsets and see if that will help.
While plugging in the AC charger, hold the power/pair button. The headphones will show a solid red or blue light when they have been successfully reset.

How to install the headset to my EVO 4g

To pair the Plantronics BackBeat 903 with an EVO 4G:

On the 903 headset:
With the headset powered off, press and hold the "Power/Pairing" button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red. This will put the 903 headset into pairing mode.

Use the iPod Touch menu to search for the headset and select 9xxBackBeat.

(If prompted, enter 0000 for the PIN code/passkey. Some devices also require you to accept the connection. Headset is paired when LED flashes blue.)

On the EVO 4G:

Turn the Bluetooth on from the Home screen, tap Menu, Settings, Wireless & Networks, Bluetooth.

Pair the EVO 4G by going to the Home screen, press Menu, Settings, Wireless & Networks, Bluetooth Settings, Scan for Devices. Follow the on screen prompts to pair the devices.

I go to set up my wireless headset with my playstation 3 but it won't pick up any devices.

You must put both the PS3 and the Backbeat into pairing mode. See your instruction manual for the PS3 for pairing. Once you have both devices searching for each other they should pair right up.

Instructions for putting the Backbeat 903 in pairing mode:

With the headphones powered off, press and hold the Power/Pairing button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red.
Use the PS3's menu to search for the Bluetooth headphones and select 9xxBackBeat.
If prompted, enter 0000 for the PIN code/passkey.

I am not able to connect the headset and my BB

Remember that newer phones are like small computers, so they may become corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often. Simply turn your phone off and remove the battery for a few seconds, then replace the battery and turn it back on again. If this does not resolve the issue, delete any pairing information for your BackBeat 903 headset and pair it again with your phone, carefully following the instructions on the link below for the Plantronics BackBeat 903.

That should get the cobwebs out of the connectivity between the headset and the phone.
