Trying to get Sagem F@st 800 usb modem to access my Sky broadband

When you have competed this registration then you will need help setting up your Router to enable OpenDNS if you have one of the following routers


otherwise you will have to setup manual from your router admin panel usually on http://192.168.0.1 then follow the instructions @ https://store.opendns.com/setup/device/router

As soon as you have set up your Netgear Router, OR any other that you have to the OpenDNS Servers then you can start browsing safe in the knowledge that you wont be phished and you will enjoy a safer internet experience great for Internet Banking OR just a simple browse

They also recommend that you use their client-side software to keep your dynamic IP updated for your network. When installed the OpenDNS updater will run inyour system tray and send updates to your account whenever your IPaddress changes.This will help ensure that your system preferences areapplied to your network at all times.


NOTE for SKY Broadband Customers these are the IP addresses of the

If you use SKY Broadband a popular UK ISP then it will either be a Black Sagem F@ST router OR a White Netgear DG834G Cloner. The Sky Broadband server can't be changed in the Sagem F@ST Router this needs to be done in the Network Cards setup details for XP HERE , the older white Netgear can be auto-set up from the OpenDNS Store

When all is working you should see this window on the OpenDNS Updater showing you account details this is why you need to register and your dynamic IP address this will warn you when it is changed by your ISP and if you are connected to the OpenDNS nameservers
