Kill the power either unplug it or turn the breaker off wait few minutes hopefully might reset it if not call service... may need new control board or latch mechansim kinda common after power outages when power comes back sends jolt blows electronics out hope this helps

The thermal fuse is not working and there could be an over heating issue going on and your washing machine will not be able to work again unless the thermal fuse has been replaced.
While there could be many reason, begin by looking at the power source. Has it tripped a circuit breaker or blown a fuse? The most common cause:
If the fuse is ok next check the door interlock. If the lights come on but the machine won't start, this might be the issue. The door interlock is the safety device that sends a signal when the door is securely closed so that your washer can run. You will need to call in a professional to trepair this fault. Less possible but still reasonable:
If you've run several loads, one after another, your washing machine may refuse to start due overheating.

see this causes and fix it. God bless you Door or Lid Latch Assembly
If the washer lid won't lock the lid switch
assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid
switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any
electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches
should have continuity according to their design.
Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly
If the washer door won't lock the door lock
assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically
or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter.
The switches should have continuity according to their design.
Main Control Board
If the washer door won't unlock the problem
might be the main control board. This is not common. Normally the
problem is with the lock mechanism.
I looked up your model number. You particular machine allows for wash with the lid open. You nothing happens. On that case I would check the motor capacitor.
The first thing to check is if the door is locking. Put the unit into spin turn unit on let it go for about a minute then shut it off, try to open the door right after you shut it off if the door opens you need a door switch if not chances are you need a motor control board. Before replacing the board call for service they are expensive if it is a guess. good luck
Give it a firm push over the door latch once you've closed the door..it might be the door switch not activating. oops.... first and formost isolate from power for 5-10mins and try
