LC-32SV24U The device was randomly cycling power during use. Not often, but often enough to be noticeable. I updated firmware (successfully). Cycles power fine until turned off for a bit. When first turned on for the day, it is as if the standby feature (what ever keeps the tv warm and ready to instantly turn on when power is pressed) doesn't work anymore. If I just leave the device on, you can see the lights dance a bit and then a single light stays steady. If I leave it a few minutes and then press the power button on the set one time. The light stays on and the set will come on. I'm guessing its a mucked firmware. Am I stuck until the next firmware release?

Al firmware updates come with an instruction.

I hope you did read the instruction, before you updated in the first place.
For every update there is a condition, the electronic needs to work perfect and the battery / power supply must be capable of delivering enough power during the whole update process.
When an electronic device is start acting strange, a software update is the worst thing you can try to solve the problem.
If there is an update for your phone, why should I type the instruction here? it is in the package and you should read it before. not when the phone is bricked.

Have you checked the timer? Sometimes the little motor inside of it gets stuck or the concacts become burnt.

I was able to successfully update my Sharp's firmware by using a USB drive that was:1) formatted in (fat, not fat32)2) had only the one update file (.uvp) and3) a small USB drive (4gb - other posts said 2gb or less)

you need to use a usb memory stick less than one gig or it wont update. once you do update the problem should be fixed

Hi! It could be an issue with the router, because if you did a complete power cycle. it works. i suggest that you find an updated firmware for netopia at their website. this is a firmware issue.

Download and install the firmware update from the link given below:

Open the page through the link the select United States then click on the "Firmware" link and you can view all the available firmware update below.
it will take some time for the firmware to install successfully.
After the firmware is installed successfully, power cycle the router.
Use 192.168.0.1 with the default admin password and use Internet Explorer to access the setup pages.

How to Get this Release
Updating over WiFi:
Subscribers may update Stiletto 2 over WiFi by following these steps:
1. Power cycle the Stiletto 2 by holding the power/lock switch down for 5 seconds
and releasing.
2. Turn on the Stiletto 2 and press the HOME button
3. Use the MEDIA DIAL to scroll to Internet Radio
4. Press the SELECT button to connect to Internet Radio
5. Tune to your favorite station and let it play for several hours.
6. Follow prompts on screen to complete the update, then power cycle your radio to
apply the updates.
7. Next go to Home

Device info, if the baseband version is
already 00.14.94 you are done. If not, continue to the next step.
8. Reconnect to Internet Radio and listen for at least 15 minutes.
9. Disconnect, and tune to Satellite Radio. Updating Sirius will be displayed for
approximately 5 minutes.
10. Once the message clears, your update should be complete. Go to the Device
Info screen to verify the update has been successful.
Updating using My Sirius Studio™:
Customers without WiFi access may update using My Sirius Studio™ running on a PC
with an active internet connection:
1. Launch My Sirius Studio™ on your computer. Be sure you are running the latest
version of My Sirius Studio, currently version 1.5.1.
2. Power cycle the Stiletto 2 by holding the power/lock switch down for 5 seconds
and releasing.
3. Turn on the Stiletto 2 and connect it to your computer using the USB cable
supplied with your device
4. In My Sirius Studio, click on the gear icon next to the device or go to File

5. Follow the instructions that appear in My Sirius Studio™ to complete the update.
Please Note: During the update, your media library must be re-built. If you have a
large amount of content stored or a microSD™ card installed, the process can last

6. After disconnecting from your PC it will be necessary to power cycle your Stiletto
and connect to Satellite Radio to refresh your channel list.

That's the best way to do over your PC to your USB. Create a folder on the storage media in which to save the update data.
Using a PC, create a folder named “PS3” on the storage media or USB device. Within the PS3 folder, create a folder named “UPDATE”.

• Download the update data and save it in the UPDATE folder created in step 1. Select here to start the download.
