These maybe the the problems:
1) Check weather the charger is switched on.
2) Check weather there is low voltage or high voltage.High voltage can damage your psp or the charger.
3) Check weather your psp is in full charge. The lights may not switch on if you have full charge.
If you have checked all the above you better buy a new one OR buy or borrow a usb cable, connect your psp to a laptop or pc.But before going to usb mode go to system settings in settings and set usb charge to ON.And now you can charge your psp while your in usb mode. The light will turn orange if it doesn't there is a problem with your psp.

My psp go making problem nowmy psp go no display only green light showing

Try my advice by following these steps:

First of all remove your battery of your psp model which is found at cover of backside of casing. Then plug-in charger into it and turn that charger on.Be sure that your Battery isn't inside. then open charger PSP will open. now you can do anything in it but do not remove charger but if you have hacked it with some software then go to its options and click on make normal battery to play psp with the help of battery.

My psp wont charge, orange light does not come on when plugged in, checked all the obvious things

Maybe your charger is the problem. Try the charger to other units to eliminate the problem. If the charger works to other units. It is simply that your PSP unit has the problem.

Psp 3000 doesnt want to charge

More than likely your charger is broken. If the charger has any lights on it, see if they turn on when the charger is plugged into an outlet. If the lights don't turn on, try another outlet. If the lights still won't come on, you need a new charger.

If the lights work, or your charger doesn't have any try using a different charger and see if the PSP will charge. If not, then the actual connection within your PSP is shot, or there was a short in your system.

I have a PSP that I charged overnight and a orange light came on when i plugged it in to the wall charger. After charging all night I went to power on the PSP and it will not power on, no green or orange...

Remove the battery.
Plug the PSP charger into the PSP.
Turn it on.

The PSP works with no battery inside.
If you're not getting a green light at all, your PSP has some sort of damaged as it should work while plugged in with no battery inside.

Psp

it sounds like you have a docking station? if so try using the charger that came with it.(make sure whatever the charger is plugged into has power and dont assume if its on a power stip and other things that are plugged have power doesnt mean one outlet on the strip can go bad. If trying another charger doesnt work try a new battery keep the reciept in case it still doesnt so you can return the battery. If none of these tips help then your psp (MAY) have taken a crash.

PSP won't come on

Hi pathfinder5x,

Sometimes the little yellow connector gets corraded and does not pass the power from the battery to the PSP. Find something to clean up the contacts on the battery, and where the battery connects inside the PSP.
