Well if it is a humming noise (also can kinda sound like a turbo whining)

its more than likely a bad ground on your headunit or amp check that the amps ground is put on a solid part of your cars metal and get some sand paper and get the paint off before u ground it

other things to check before u go out and buy a filter is
check that the person who installed your stereo/amp DIDNT run the POWER for the amp next to the RCA leads or speaker wire this can cause alot of interferance too and isnt recomended at all .. power wire should be run on the other side of the car to the speaker wire and rca leads

if that fails to rid the interference you can go to anygood car audio store and ask for a filter for the rca leads and also a ground and power filter to elimantae annoying interference

also check that your airal is grounded correctly to the body of ur car over time it can become loose or corrode

hope this helps

My Kustom quad 100 Dfx cuts out when I pluck a string, and then it comes back on. It does this constant on and off loop every two seconds, what's the cause?

There could be several potential causes for the issue you described with your Kustom Quad 100 Dfx amplifier. Here are a few possibilities to consider:
  1. Power issue: Check the power source and connections. Ensure that the amplifier is receiving stable power without any fluctuations or interruptions. Faulty power cables, loose connections, or inadequate power supply could cause the intermittent cutting out and restarting.
  2. Speaker or speaker wiring: Examine the speaker(s) and the wiring connecting them to the amplifier. Loose or damaged speaker cables, faulty speaker connections, or even damaged speakers themselves could lead to the intermittent behavior you're experiencing.
  3. Overheating or thermal protection: Amplifiers often have built-in protection mechanisms to prevent overheating. If the amplifier is overheating, it may shut down intermittently to cool off before powering back on. Ensure that the amplifier has proper ventilation and isn't placed in an environment where it's prone to overheating.
  4. Internal component issues: There might be a problem with internal components such as transistors, capacitors, or resistors. These components can sometimes degrade or fail over time, causing intermittent issues like the one you described. In this case, it may require professional inspection and repair.
  5. Other external interference: Consider any other factors that could be causing interference with the amplifier. Nearby electrical devices, radio frequency interference, or even faulty instrument cables could potentially disrupt the amplifier's performance.
It's worth noting that troubleshooting electronic devices can be complex, and it's often best to consult with a qualified technician or reach out to the manufacturer's support for assistance. They will have the expertise and knowledge to diagnose and resolve the issue specific to your amplifier model.

Lexus nakamichi 12 cd player repair

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

blem: I get noise on my car audio system that disappears when I turn the car off.
Possible Cause

Suggested Solution
Alternator or ignition noise is being picked up through the power connection. Install a 12-volt noise filter between the power tap and the power input on your car audio. Back to the Troubleshooting Index Problem: The sound distorts at high volume when I play the radio in my car audio system.
Possible Cause

Suggested Solution
The radio wattage is too low to drive the speakers. Use a car amplifier to increase the radio's power. Replace the speakers with ones which match the radio's output. Back to the Troubleshooting Index Problem: My car radio only get one station.
Possible Cause

Suggested Solution
There is a problem with the wiring. Check the antenna circuit and rewire if necessary. There is a problem with the antenna. Check the antenna and replace if necessary. There is a problem with the radio. If you received more than one station with your previous system and you have already checked the wiring and the antenna, either replace the radio or send it to a service center. Back to the Troubleshooting Index Problem: My car radio keep running hot and blowing fuses.
Possible Cause

Suggested Solution
The wires to different speakers have been combined rather than run separately. Make sure that each of the speakers has 2 wires run to it. Combining speaker wires will cause this problem. Back to the Troubleshooting Index Problem: I lose my station memories in my car radio when I turn off the vehicle.
Possible Cause

Suggested Solution
The tuner memory wire may not be connected properly. Connect the yellow wire to your vehicle battery's positive (+) terminal or to a fuse that provides a continuous source of 12 volts. This connection provides continuous power for the clock and tuner memory when the ignition is turned off. Back to the Troubleshooting Index Problem: The amplifier stays on for a few minutes, then shuts off, then comes back on, then shuts off again.
Possible Cause

Suggested Solution
It is overheating due to power issues. Check your power ratings to be sure they match the amplifier's specifications. There is a problem with the amplifier. If the power ratings are correct, the amplifier needs to be sent to a service center. Back to the Troubleshooting Index Problem: When using two amplifiers, I lose the right channel on one amp.
Possible Cause

Suggested Solution
There is a problem in the sound system or wiring. Try swapping amplifiers or bypassing that amp. If the problem persists on the right channel on both amps, check the wiring and sound system. There is a problem with the amplifier. Replace the amplifier that displays the problem or send it to a service center .

Excellent signal low speed transfer

You can boost the signal range of a WiFi computer network in several ways: Answer:
  • reposition your router (or access point) to avoid obstructions and radio interference. Both reduce the range of WiFi network equipment. Common sources of interference in residences include brick or plaster walls, microwave ovens, and cordless phones. Additionally, consider changing the WiFi channel number on your equipment to avoid interference.

  • upgrade the antenna on your router (or access point). WiFi antennas on most wireless base stations can be removed and replaced with more powerful ones.

  • add another access point (or router). Large residences typically require no more than two APs, whereas businesses may employ dozens of APs. In a home, this option requires connecting your primary wireless router (access point) to the second one with Ethernet cable; home wireless routers and/or APs don't normally communicate with each other directly.

  • add a bi-directional WiFi signal amplifier to wireless devices as needed. A WiFi signal amplifier (sometimes called "signal booster") attaches to a router, access point or Wi-Fi client at the place where the antenna connects. Bi-directional antennas amplify the wireless signal in both transmit and receive directions. These should be used as WiFi transmissions are two-way radio communications.

  • add a WiFi repeater. A wireless repeater is a stand-alone unit positioned within range of a wireless router (access point). Repeaters (sometimes called "range expanders") serve as a two-way relay station for WiFi signals. Clients too far away from the original router / AP can instead associate with the WLAN through the repeater.

BMW M3 E46 Stereo whine

What you are hearing is ground loop interference. If you have an aftermarket headunit/amplifier this is a common occurrence. A ground loop isolator in line with the low level amplifier inputs should solve the problem. Otherwise, it may be a malfunction of the stock cd unit or amplifier. BMW used a balanced input on some of the stock amplifiers, which would make ground loop interference all but impossible.

Radio channel coming through on cd zone

Sounds like an internal prob within the reciever, since recievers have radio tuners in em, maybe a prob in the input switching in it. I assume you are running unbalanced rca cables out of the dvd player into the reciever as it probably doesn't have balanced input capability, unbalanced lines are susceptible to R.F.I. ( radio frequency interference ) but I doubt if that's the problem here unless maybe you are running very long cable lengths from the dvd player to the reciever. Try using a different input and see if the problems still there, can use any input other than phonograph really as they are all line level inputs.

I receive a radio channel in one of the outputs of the preamp

I would use sheilded wire on the mic with the least amount of cable. You can relocate the pre amp with aluminum foil wrapped around the pre amp. also turn the gain on the mic down as to eliminate any interference from your strong radio station nearby. Randy
