To make it clear I have an HTC HD2 windows mobile phone running windows 6.5 but I've heared that T-mobile in USA will introduce an exclusive upgraded version of same device with windows 7 but packing 576MB RAM and 1GB ROM,but mine is 448MB,512MB ROM.SO,Will this make my mobile incompatible with the new Windows 7 OS as I heared rumors that Windows 7 will require these minimum RAM & ROM to run

It seems that you have to update the software of HTC HD2 Smartphone. HTC provides Rom Upgrade in which it completely replaces the built - in software in the phone. Rom upgrade in the HTC HD2 Smartphone extends its features, imroves its performance which makes it easy to use.

During ROM upgrade, make sure that your phone battery is at least 50% charged. Automatic standby and hibernation are disabled in computer, and close all running programs. Do not disconnect your HTC HD2 Smartphone from your computer while the phone software is being updated. If you disconnect the HTC HD2 Smartphonee during the software update, it may become unusable.

install it and connect the phone with usb cable and run this app.

but if you have HD2 then,

for htc HD2 windows mobile : download the WMDC (windows mobile device center) for win7/vista PC or PC SYNC 4.5 for XP and install it to use your Windows phone 6.5 device.

Prerequisite to run Android 2.2 Froyo on HTC HD2

1. Flash HardSPL3 on HTC HD2
2. Flash any HTC HD2 Radio ROM Leo_RADIO 2.08 onward

1. Download zip file here.
2. Extract contents of zip file to your SD card. Note - Android folder should be located at root level (SD card\Android).
3. Using file explorer in Windows Mobile, inside the 'Android' folder run CLRCAD.exe (to fix audio issue). Don't worry, it will appear to do nothing, that is normal.
4. Run Haret.exe.
5. Enjoy...

Note - Android 2.2 Froyo on HTC HD2 is not perfect yet compare the actual Android phone HTC Desire. Some functions are not working. And I got white and black screen of death (SOD) sometimes. But it is getting better and better each day. Hoping it will out perform actual Android phone out there soon.

i have installed CHT editor software in my HTC HD2 around 1month ago..
It is working fine 4 me... Today i enabled the phone security code (simple pin) and also unlocked it many times b4 problem occurs..
bt after dat i switched off my phn n nw its demanding the security code which i entered d same with which i opened it many times...bt every time it is showing me wrong password... is there any solution 4 dat... i m pretty much sure dat i m entering d right password..
my mobile model is HTC HD2 T-mobile Leo, i bought it from USA n unlocked it in india...

You must intall either ActiveSync (if your PC has Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (in case it has Vista or 7). You can download any of them from this location.
