Ive bought a motorola razor v3 handset. It has accepted my sim and is working but someone has put a 4 digit 'unlock code' on it as a security measure and now i cant get it off. It is preventing me from accessing my phonebook and msgs etc... ive tried 1234 and 0000 and a few other combinations but to no joy. Do you know idf there is some kind of general code to get back into the phone. It wont even let me reset the security settings or anything as it is asking for the old 'unlock code' first.
Well i got my phone locked and i dont have the unlock code...so is there some sort of universal unlock code i have?
The defalt code for your phone is 1234 the best advice i can give you is contact motorola and speak to a tech their they have codes to unlock them there is a trick we try some times take your battery out while phone is on some times shocking it will bypass security and if works perform a master reset on the phone that will change every thing back to factory settings the defalt security code for a master reset is 000000 hopefully this will help

Try pressing the menu button when it asks for your pass code and putting 6 zeros there and that should work
