Hi,
Whats the model? Take a deep look at the screen even if it doesn't appear damaged as the slightest crack on lcd may render it 'dead'. If cracked, may require replacement.
yes. this is a common fault with any phone that falls on the tile floor, especially if it lands using the screen(even if it doesnt, the screen might still be affected). the only solution is to send it to a repairer because it would require the attention of an expert due to the crack or damage done to the main display screen which in most cases would have to be replaced with a brand new one
It may look like it is cracked but it isn't. A plasma panel can't function if cracked as it would evacuate the gases contained in the panel. What you are seeing is most likely delamination of the screen. This sometimes happens on its own but usually occurs when the TV is moved or stored incorrectly. The elements of the panel actually detach themselves from each other and the bonding between them is what you see. This is assuming the glass screen on the outside portion of the panel hasn't been cracked. Joe
Probably not. Open a ticket with the sandisk.com support and see if you can get it replaced if it's under warranty. you may have to call because they are kinda slow at getting to the tickets.
Thank you and please respond with any comments or more questions.
You don't have to crack the screen if it is LCD. The "bleeding into the screen" and "black lines" could be symptoms of leaking liquid from the damage/impact of being dropped. Where you send it for repairs would depend on the manufacturer, the store you bought it from, and if you have a service plan or not.
