Dishwasher signals "clean" inside five minutes

New SHE4AM16UC, professionally installed eight months ago. Worked fine with light usage until now. Dishwasher starts normally but stops and signals "clean" after less than five minutes on any cycle. One inch of water in bottom that (I think) drains when a new cycle starts. Soap tablets are not ejected from compartment. Bosch authorized repairman says he now has two client dishwashers with identical symptoms and is asking Bosch support for ideas (he's changed pump, control unit, and float switches in the other dishwasher). Ideas?

For my Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher SHE3AR56UC/16 solution was to replace Control Panel (i.e. Control Board) located in the top of the door with Bosch Part No. 00705306 (AP5306751 at ApplianceParts Pro.com).

Cycle stops after 2-3 minutes

Sounds like the fill solenoid. It is likely that the machine is stopping after a few minutes after not seeing the water level raise in the wash tank. When you say fiddle underside of the door, was this with any panels off? If so, maybe a loose wire on the pub that sends power to the solenoid.

Turn on dishwasher, goes to clean cycle right away.

My Bosch SHE4AM16UC was having the same problem of it going from active straight to clean, and there was water in the bottom making me think that there was either a clog or a pump issue. I took my shop vac sucked all the water out of the dishwasher including the down into the drain area for about 3 min until u think all the water is gone in the entire unit. Then I also took off the drain hose that was connected to either your sink or your disposal and held the shop vac over that area for about 5 min to get all the water and hopefully any clog that may be obstructing the drainage. Put the hose back on and hit start and it worked. So for me it was just a clog either deep in the hose or inside the unit. I hope this helps someone. TonyaB

New SHE4AM16UC, professionally installed eight months ago. Worked fine with very light usage until now. Dishwasher starts normally but stops and signals "clean" after less than five minutes on any cycle....

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If the clean light flashes, pauses, and then repeats. When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (clean light flashes, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash

-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

All the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cycle finish (1-2 minutes). You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal. If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (i.e. element, thermostat or wiring). It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Nakamichi TA2A gone dead

This unit needs an overhaul. There are defective capacitors and poor solder connections that need repair. I have done a number of these and the repair is straightforward.

Well it sounds like a combo of both. Definitly get the battery replaced again. The phone itself probably needs new software. take it your service provider's corp store to get the software updated.
