I am unable to connect to the internet using a wireless connectio

connected to wireless router with excellent signal may not means you are connected to internet. make sure your modem provided by internet service provider has signal! connect your computer to modem directly bypassing router. If you are online that means your internet is functional. Then connect modem to your Linksys router and use your wireless to log on to internet.
Your router wireless signal active and excellent means you are connected to router not necessarily the internet. The modem supplied by your internet service provider with active internet should be connected to you router on WAN port!

Please test the WiFi with a laptop or netbook, if Internet works with it, maybe you have bad settings into the wireless adapter, you could use the PC wireless connection parameters (SSID, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS) as reference with the data obtained with the TV wireless adapter, the only difference must be the IP address, the rest must be the same since they're using the same network.

You internet had low signal or bad signal. just put off and on your modem to refresh the internet connection and try to connect again.

you have to set your router into mixed.....and set your gateway into LAN & WIRELESS...

what is the wireless status in system tray? is it local or local and internet.
1. first check if it works fine with wire conection or not.
2.if it fine with cable then issue is with wireless. probably issue with Wireless security key.
3. go to available wireless networks and select the net work, if it is asking for wireless key please enter that. if you donot remember that perform router reset.that takes care of it.

Open network connections and disable your wireless connection (right click) then renable it and try to connect. What program are you using to manage your wireless connection?
If you are using your manufaturers software then try using windows xp (or vice versa)

Turn your wirless router off then on also do this to that computer that conect. I hope this helps you.

i had same problem with my ps3, but i also had a landline connection so i used that instead but as far as i know there are products available which can send out a signal wirelessly but i think orange want an additional fee for online gaming. bt wanted an extre 9.99 per month for me to use thier broadband for gaming so i canged to virgin media and i havent had a problem since

SSID is the name of the internet connection (ex. randomD9), WEP Key is the password if any for the connection (ex. 123456). Just to tell you, Mobile internet isn't supported by the PS3 so you would have no luck with this. Maybe in the future when the firmware updates but for now the best thing to do is to get a wired connectio or a wireless.
