LD-14AW3 Our dishwasher starts the cycle and then comes up with an upside down FE code. Not sure what that means please help.It is not a strandard FE code which refers to excess water. The F is upside down and is followed by a regular E.

Most dishes in any dishwasher are still wet when cycle is finished. The heat built up in the dishes during the washing cycle is what causes the water to evaporate when the machine stops.
If you want to accelerate the evaporation, simply open the door very slightly so that as the hot air escapes it causes the dishes to dry quicker.
To little info, but looks like pipe is much to low. Not getting the opportunity to fill up properly.Raise it higher.(Im asuming that you can hear the drain pump run and water is being pumped out as wall.
This happens to my LG dishwasher every 6 months or so. It also makes a groaning sound as if the system is starved for water. The resolve the problem by removing the dishwasher and laying it over on it's right side. I then remove the two plastic assemblies that are on the left side and I remove them from the dishwasher (you will need a vice grips to remove the hose clamps from behind them, you will also need to remove the round circular water intake plastic disk that is on the inside of your dishwasher on the left hand side right in the middle of the left wall) and clean them. Once the water can run freely through these plastic parts you will get a good water flow and you should be fine. Until you have time to do this I recommend putting a few quarts of hot water into your dishwasher once you start to hear the groaning problem. This solution should be very easy for anyone who is comfortable doing their own oil change. Oh, and turn off the power supply first.
E1 is a code that the dishwasher displays after detecting a leak. There is a sensor on the pan at the very bottom of the unit. Take the bottom front panel off, look under the unit at the hose coming off the pump and your fill line to be sure no water is dripping. Run the unit in a wash cycle while doing this if possible.
LG Dishwasher LD 1403W. We have cleaned it and when it gets to the heating cycle after running right through to nearly the end, it trips all the electricity and stops everything. Its only 3 years old and hubby thinks its the heating element but between $200=$300 to fix.
I have had this dishwasher about 4 years, it has work beautifully, then one day there just wasn't any power going to it. Have tried different power points and no change. Looked for a fuse, was unable to find one. The power cord coming into the machine is undamaged. Any suggestions.
this unit has an anti flood device. if it leaks it lifts a piece of plastic in the base and hits the microswitch. try leaning the unit to one side and i would put towels down. if water comes out then try a program. hope this helps.
