Canon mx700 rejecting remanufactured ink cartridges

I've used remanufactured cartridges for other brands of copiers, but the first time I've tried to use on the Canon MX700 it rejected and wouldn't print. Error message was u140. Cartridge was refilled by TrueStar from a Canon manufactured cartridge/tank.

Has anyone else been able to get MX700 to accept remanufactured cartridges?

Printer reads error code U150 and does not recognize the black ink tank. I have made sure that the tape is off and that the tank is installed properly. It lights up just like the others. As soon as you close the cover the alarm light comes on and it gives the error code.

Big issue with remanufacturing is how integritous is the fit of the cartridge, and also the interface. When these are re cut, so to speak, tolerances can stack up, and one thing about Canon, is they are a stickler for tolerances. You may have an issue with the cartridge fitting in the carriage, but not interfacing with the system. Happens sometimes..

Ink empty after replacing ink cartridge

Printers often show 'ink empty' when a remanufactured cartridge is used. Usually the printer will still print but some makes have a block that stops this.
My Canon does the same but i ignore the message and it prints OK.

Canon mx700 not recognizing cartridges

I suspect that your have a damaged refilled cartridge. Also, you may have a clogged nozzle. Canon printers are sensitive to the quality of the ink used in the cartridges and refill ink sometimes does not meet the manufacturer's specifications. You can check this by inserting a new OEM cartridge, running the deep cleaning utillity three times and a aligning the printhead. The other problem may be that the electronic chip on the refilled cartridge may either be damaged or blocked by dried ink. In any case, you need to discard the failing cartridge and replace it.
Let me know if this solves the problem. Thanks.

How to refill pixma mx700 magenta ink tank without

The colors are individual. That machine takes the Canon CLI-8. I would suggest reading your manual on what the procedure is for changing the ink cartridges out, it typically varies slightly by machine. There should be an option somewhere one of the menus to change the ink cartridges. When you buy a replacement be sure you buy from someone who isn't trying to scam you. I would recommend Cartridge World, of course, or OEM. Do not use cheap online cartridges, you will only have headache later.

Canon MX700 printer ink lamp fast blinking

1) Insert both ink cartridges and then check the ink levels that way it will tell you if there is something wrong with them.
2) Make sure you buy 1 colour ink and the other black and insert them into the correct slots.
3) Contact your printers manufacturer by going on there website. They may have a live chat.
4) Try this link: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=238&modelid=15651

My Printer is saying, some ink tanks are not

If the cartridges are in the correct position, you may have defective cartridges. If you are using after market cartridges, the electronic sensor chip built into the cartridge may be defective. I would remove the cartridges and try using OEM cartridges. You can also try new aftermarket cartridges from a different vendor. This should clear the problem.
Let me know if this does not solve the problem and we can look into other potential solutions.
