Probably you have a weak battery in your remote transmitter. When the garage door is closed it requires a stronger signal. Open the remote and replace the battery.
Have you changed the battery recently? My remote has a bad habot of slightly misaligning the cel switches if I don't close it exactly right. For my Chrysler van the sliding door switch is affected that way. All else works, though. I end up opening the remote again and ensuring it snaps shut all the way around with just one compression. If an edge doesn't close it's try again. The good news is it's virtually always the remote at issue and nothing expensive in the vehicle.
Make sure you have no soot build up on your ignitor. It will conduct elect so you can hear a buzz instead of a clear spark. Without a clean spark it wont fire and for safty it shuts down to keep gas from building up in the cabnit.
