Dvd player I have a durabrand dwt 1304 tv. I am trying to hook up my vcr/dvd player and i have a universal remote with an imput button, but i cannot get the tv to play a dvd?

You will need a remote. A cheap universal remote will work.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

you have to run theater system eather through your vcr or your dvd player for mor out put jacks and input jacks on older tvs but the thing is your dvd player remote will be your tv remote the same as your vcr remote.

Connect the composite video RCA (yellow) cable output of the DVD player to the TV's video input RCA (yellow jack). Connect the red and white RCA cable from the DVD players audio output to the TV's audio input (red and white jacks). Select the source input from the TV's control panel - if it has an input selector switch, set it to select the video source from the front panel input jacks if you connected the three cables - yellow, red and white on the front of the set. Or, change the channel to receive the video auxiliary input source instead of the broadcast station.

try 032 or 132 or 11034 or 694.
These have all worked on various remotes including Dish Network remotes for the Durabrand DWT 1304 color 13" TV. Look at the Funai Corp codes and the Orion codes. Sometimes they work, Funai Corp makes Durabrand.

Yes it should work, connect the RCA video out (yellow connector DTV Converter) to the RCA video in (yellow connector TV set). Then connect the RCA Audio out (Red-Right White-Left DTV converter) to the RCA audio in (Red-Right White-Left TV set).

Then setup your converter box according to the manufacture's instructions.

Comcast universal remote code for dwt 1905 is 0171, just tried it, it works

If the TV has a tv/video button on the front
panel you can switch to video and just
operate the DVD with the DVD remote
If there is no TV/VIDEO switch then you
will need a universal remote with TV/VIDEO
menu,PIP etcIf you dont have a remote for
the dvd player the solution is basically the
same a universal remote howerver you can
operate the dvd player from the front panel

Does your TV have more than one A-V input ? If so perhaps you're plugged into the wrong input. Make sure you're coming out an output on your VCR/DVD player and going into an input A-V plug on your TV. Stargazer I've messed up like this a few times!
