You need to enable the webcam by pressing Fn+Esc or Fn+F10 key combination. Also see if you can find the latest version of drivers on the lenovo support website for Windows 7 or at least Windows Vista. If it still doesnt get detected at least in device manager, try flashing the system BIOS to the latest version available on lenovo support website.
First install a missing driver, you can download it from the laptop manufacturer website if you don't have the software for it!
For example if the webcam is from Dell/Toshiba/Acer/Lenovo then visit Dell/Toshiba/Acer/Lenovo website...
First uninstall the older device drivers and then install the latest
device drivers. You can also download the latest webcam drivers from the
internet and install the new device drivers.
Now go to Lenovo website and click download option, select your model number.
After selecting the laptop model number from site, click on 'Software & Drivers Downloads'.
Now you need to choose your operating system & select the given updates & follow all instructions to download it.
After complete download, install supported driver for your laptop
webcam. After install driver, reboot your laptop again and check that
your webcam is working properly or not.
I hope it will fix your webcam not working issue if laptop is not facing any hardware issue.
