There are other suppliers who sell two silicon washers and a stainless steel washer in kits, but they tend to run considerably more.
The rubber washer would degrade quickly due to the heat. You may be able to get by with a new silicon washer. Check your local (not national chain but local francisee) hardware store.
The fill Tank is plastic and degrades over time. I bought a large rubber washer from local plumbing store to fill the void and seal the leak. The problem has returned and I need to replace the water fill tank completely. If possible??!!!. When to take the top of you will see a large screw with a hole in it, that is were the leaks occur.
Heat will degrade the rubber or plastic washer. Silicon washers will work but are difficult to find. I went to the auto parts store and purchased material used to make head gaskets for autos. Head gaskets have to endure both high heat and water. I removed the three screws from the top cover and removed cover. Unscrew the fill nut from the fill tank and remove the tank. I used the placed the stainless steel washer on the head gasket material, traced around the outside and inside and carefull cut the head gasket material in the shape of the stainless washer. Reassembled and it works. After four or five hours (when tank gets hot again) you may need to tighten the nut a little (expansion) in the bottom of the fill tank. Head gasket washers have been in for over two years now without water leaks.

When I add water it leaks out of the back. I just replaced my last coffeemaker because of this problem. I've only had this cooffeemaker for approx. one month so I shouldn't need any replacement parts.

I am proposing a class action suit against BUNN through this website. Bunn is not satisfying it's customers at all - even their repairs are shoddy at the cost of the consumer who still ends up with a defective coffeemaker.
