Hello,

This usually means there is a problem with your keyboard connection at the mainboard end. If you keep getting this error and you can not use your input devices, you will need to replace the board.

Good Luck

A power outage cause dell server 1600sc to shut down & no display on the monitor

Hello here is the homepage.

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/ussoho1/Product/poweredge-1600sc

There should at least be a message on the monitor indicating there is no signal coming to the monitor. The first thought that comes to mind if all is connected would be that the power supply has failed.
And maybe the graphic card.

Call also the DELL support in your country they will be glad to help
and they probably know the fault.

Dell PowerEdege 1600SC not recognizing IO devices

Just go into the bios and insert the correct parameters. you shut it off before it could save the settings. Or hit fi on boot and it should take you into the bios and you cand sort it out in there. If you want an easy way, just do a system restore. Start,Programs, accesorys, system tools, system restore, just go back a day or two before you had that issue, and you should be good to go, good luck

Network is running dead slow...

Hi,

Please make sure that all the cables are in good condition, if not replace them with high quality ones for better speed. Make sure that there are no hardware on software conflicts in the server and the client PC's. Run regular maintenance.

Have a look at this article which is on client performance tuning.

Booting problem

Hi Yunisa,
I need a little more info on this issue. Do you hear the power supply fan operating when you switch the server on? Did the server still startup even though the monitor is not displaying? Did this problem just occur or where there other signs of a problem coming? This may sound a little foolish to you, but check to make sure that the server is plugged into power and that the monitor is connected properly. There should at least be a message on the monitor indicating there is no signal coming to the monitor. The first thought that comes to mind if all is connected would be that the power supply has failed. Please check this out and get back to me with info.
