Timex Sleek stopped beeping when I replaced the battery
This is a common problem when non watch educated people are changing battries themselves.
The answer is simple: While changing battery and handling the watch you did lost the coil spring. It is so small, you will never notice that the something was dropped.
Coilspring is the connector to the sound membrane of the watch, transfering microprocessor signals to audible membrane.
If it's lost, there is no connection between watch movement and audio membrane.
I suggest that you did change batteries yourself previously and had the same outcome (no sound). Next time you gonna change the battery - make sure you do not turn the watch upside down and if you do - check the movement with eyeglass and make sure all the loose fitted bits are in place.
To get your both watches fixed visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask for coilspring to be fitted.

I just had my battery replaced on my casio watch yesterday and i like to have it beep on the hour and also to set the alarm when I go to my break at work.
Well since having this replaced it no longer beeps. Just wondering if it could be the battery or a bad connection...any answers?
