You can download the motherboarddrivers from Intel WEB site
1) Select your model motherboard/device
2) and makesure you select the Windows XP,Vista OR WINDOWS 7 version of the driver

Most of the drivers/software I get are from a web site driverguide.com you need to fill out a free registration then search for the driver you need download it in a format you can use install it and then most times reboot the computer

On the left side select Motherboards
Then select socket 478
Then select P4VMM2
Then select your version
press Submit and you will get all the drivers, BIOS, manual, etc...

download and run everesthome
click on the + by motherboard
click on cpu then click on motherboard
the cpu will id the the processor
motherboard will id the FSB speed.

CPU-Z
click on the download latest version, left column
when you unzip and run this it will tell you if the processor is 478 or 479 pin both have 478 pins but location is different.
