Wow, no tests down with battery out.
battery is the #1 failure in all laptop made. and fails many ways.
the firewalls does not source power, forget that.
If fact the HDD removed the power systems work perfectly.
tests,
run with no battery, IT MUST, if not the line power pack is TOASTED.
runs with battery only, no, yes? (if charged)
is this hard, no.
try to know batteries can short.
when they short they can overload any charger chip and can the PC.
Batteries are week techology
no battery ever lasts as long as the PC or any of its other parts.
the fail
some can fail in 6 months time.
why wait, run with no battery, heck some do for years.
after learning to hate batteries.
I have 2 and is only for travel every year, i test them before for my trip for proper run times.
only that works, in the world of batteries.
Is this XP?
Do you have the XP cd or the recovery cd's. This needs to be fixed by performing a Windows repair.
missing or corrupt: \windows\system32\config\system"means that the OS,XP, is missing an essential file to run.
Or it could mean that your hard drive is failing. Is the hard drive noisey?

You can put your laptop on top of a icepack, cause your Graphics card is probably getting to hot. Thats why your screen turns white(probably only when gaming).

You need to update the bios ... if u have programer open laptop u can see near the keyboard jack under tranpernt plastic u can see bios is 4*4 legs.. u can dowload bios bin or rom files u can update with programmer.. or u can check this way updating bios with USB even if there is no display .. for further information u can contact me @ [email protected] Thanks
