I'm having a simlar problem my computer and MP3 recognize each other and begin to synchronize but half a second later they disconnect and try again. The continuous sound of my system disconnect and reconnecting is very annoying. I had this problem once before but the problem seemed to resolve itself within a day. I'm using an older HP laptop with windows XP.

I actually had my friend try my mp3 on his and it worked just fine then for kicks I tried it back on mine and it worked. I think there was just something fouled between my mp3 and computer even resetting wasn't fixing it. who knows what fixed it.

Looks like the usb interface's worn out.. it might be due to a fall or **** happened to the player.. get it checked at your nearest service center..

Check whether u formatted your player to NTFS rather than FAT32.

Just do a reformat, and this time, in the FAT32 format.
