When solution 1 did not help. Solution 2: RELOAD AND UPDATE THE LATEST FIRMWARE All data on the player will be erased when updating firmware !
Go to next sites, seeing how to do a firmware update:
1. To perform a firmware update the player has to be in MSC mode.
How to put the player in MSC mode, see the information about the

Hi
a nice firmware update should repair all that
go to this website and find the good mp3 player http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/index.asp
select your operating system and download the firmare
plug your mp3 and run the firmware
select the good device and you should be able to listen music after and turn your mp3 off.
Good luck
I had this problem my self, but here is the solution.
The sansa is really picky about Movies first you need to make sure you have the right File, I've only been able to get AVI to play on the fuze second, go on to SanDisk's web page and get the Firmware update here http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=sansafuse&message.id=210
There is also a converter that is offered by SanDisk that is rather handy.
hope this helped
