Hello. It seems the 'shift fork' is either 'misaligned' and/or 'bent' in 3rd, 4th, 5th and REVERSE. It's, also, possible those gears are 'stripped' on their shaft(s); making driving that truck, in those gears, impossible. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.
Sounds like one of the levers inside the transmission is either broken or otherwise disengaged. Remove the shifter to see if you can see any obvious reason.
Woiuld be just guessing,could be alot of things,,could be seriuos internal problem in transmission..best bet is take to mechanic and have checked.....good luck.
It is the prnd indicator switch on the shift shaft of the transmission,or a shift solenoid,or the valves are sticking in the valve body,try some lube guard,added to the transmission,it is great for stuck valves.
If the clutch has never been changed most likely it is that. The way you can check it is by removing the transmission and looking at the clutch disc. It could be transmission syncros but I am willing to bet you just need a new clutch.
