How do I monitor toner levels in my Sharp copier or MFP?
You can monitor the toner levels in your Sharp copier or MFP by pressing and holding down the COPY function key . Two pieces of information will then be displayed.
The Total Copy count on the device
and
The remaining toner levels. This will be shown in 25% increments. When you get down to 25% capacity check to see if you have spare toner on hand. If not, give us a call and we will promptly deliver.
Usualy what i did i use toner chip (100%) fix it to toner cartridge then insert to machine, check the amount if 100% then pull out the toner cartridge and replace old chip insert back to the machine, check it will be 75%.

TRY THIS:
Remove toner and check for broken parts on tube, check the connection of toner assy, reconect all connectors on dc controller pcb.
If you removed the toner assy before the error occcured check if all connectors are properly inserted.
On my APPLE the MAC OS driver depicts the toner levels when I check the printer status under the settings and preferences - printers icon - supply levels is an optional choice. I have not found a way to check the levels on an XP system.
