Kenwood DNX7100 I only get a blue screen when playing a DVD on this system. The car is in park and the audio of the movie comes through fine. For some reason the screen just stays blue. Any ideas?

Or the parking prake wire is not grounded... that's what happened to me. Just find a spot to ground the parking brake wire and video should appear.

It sounds like the video cable is disconnected, or perhaps if the unit has multiple inputs, it' s set for the wrong one.

How do I bypass the parking break to alow my kids to watch movies while im driving? (Kenwood DNX7100)

The parking brake wire (light green) from the kenwood unit needs to see ground. You could either ground the wire or use a toggle switch to ground the wire.

The blue lights connected to the volume bottoms don't come on any

It may be a fault wire connection inside the device. If you still have the warrant info either from Kenwood or the place you bought it, I would see if they can get it repaired.

DVD movies do not play

A blue screen means the TV is not receiving a video signal. Check all connections, then try another player, cable, etc. Also, check DVD and TV AV settings.
