Not sure whether you have an extended drying option (4hr drying cycle) or the normal drying (30 minutes) cycle set up.

Check if you have selected the ECO or Fast cycle in which it does not generate enough heat to dry the dishes.

Otherwise can you hear the drying fan run towards the end of the wash cycle when the pumping has stopped?

if above answer is yes, then check if rinse aid is reservoir is not empty. If so, fill it and run dishwasher to see if it makes a difference. Also if you have hard water then rinse aid setting should be set at higher level

good luck. please post answers to above to help you diagnose the problem

Hi

make sure you are using rinse aid as this helps to evaporate the water at the end of the cycle in the drying stage. I know tablets have rinse aid built into the tablet but this can wash away on some wash cycles and do nothing so even if you are using tablets i reccommend still using rinse aid.

Our Bosch dishwasher always has condensation after completing the cycle. Is there a reason for this?

I have noticed the same with our bosch dishwasher. Once the unit finishes washing, it sits there silently for about 1/2 hour and then exhausts the hot/moist air through the drain pump and illuminates the "clean" light. With the tub still hot, I open the door and prop it open a few inches with the top rack for a few hours. Since the tub is still very hot but open to the much cooler air, a lot of that condensation will leave the clean dishes. A few hours or even overnight should do the trick! It isn't a perfect system but beats having that coil heater in the bottom to warp all of your plasticware.

Try putting in a PREHEATED oven at 130F for a day (or on the dash of a car sitting in the sun) If you powered it up before it was completely dry, it could be finished. Always let these thing dry at least for several days as their are nooks and crannies (technical terms) that are hard to dry out.

The dishes are still wet after "drying" overnight?

Hi,

With the energy efficient dishwashers today it is very important to use rinse aid for proper drying. The rinse aid will help sheet the water off of the dishes prior to the dry cycle. If you do not use rinse aid you can expect poor dry performance.

Next to the detergent cup in the door is the rinse aid dispenser, be sure it is full. You only need to fill it about once a month. There is also a product called "Turbo Dry" that you can use in the rinse aid dispenser, it helps dry even plastics very well.

Next be sure you have selected heated dry on your options.

Sani Rinse will also help as it heats the water before the dry cycle.

Let me know if you have questions.

My dishwasher does not always dry the dishes completely - even though I use the same cascade with each use.

The most important thing to getting the best drying from this energy efficient, water conserving dishwasher is keeping the rinse aid dispenser filled. In my part of the US, I only see a rinse aid called Jet Dry.

The Cascade is the detergent powder and will not help the dishes to get dry.

Note: Even with the rinse aid full, some plastics will still be wet.

Glassware and dishes getting water spots lately.

I think your dish washer is starting to go out. We have a Kenmore dish washer (unsure if the model is the same), it started with not cleaning the dishes well to not sanitizing and now it doesnt dry. We are actually replacing ours today. We we noticed that it wasnt cleaning properly (water spots, or not rinsing well) we too added Jet Dry thinking that that would solve it. We soon discovered that it didnt help at all. Hope this helps you.

Dishes not dry enough & leak of water at sink vent device

HEATED DRY.Turns the drying heater on for fast drying.
ENERGY SAVER (no heat boost). Turns the drying heater off to save energy. Dishes will dry naturally over a longer period such as overnight. lf you need your dishes sooner, open the dishwasher door after the cycle is complete to reduce the natural drying time. Use of this option reduces the electrical energy used by this model approximately 7%. A rinse agent makes water flow off dishes quicker than usual. This lessens water spotting and makes drying faster, too.
Make sure inlet water temperature is correct.(SeePage6.)
Unload the bottom rack first.Water from dishes in the top rack may be spilling in to the
bottom rack.
Check for improper loading.Dishes shouldn’t nest together. Avoid overloading. Check the rinse agent dispenser to see that it’s not empty.

Inlet temperature....Good Dish washing starts with hot water, To get dishes clean and dry,you will need hot water. To help you get
water of the proper temperature, your dish washer automatically heats the water in the wash cycle. For good washing and drying , the entering water must be at least 120°E To prevent dish damage,
inlet water should not exceed 150”F. How to test water temperature: Check the water temperature inside your dishwasher with a candy or meat thermometer. Let the dishwasher run through
one fill and pump out cycle, then let the dishwasher fill with water
the second time. When you hear the water stop filling, unlatch the door and slowly open it. Measure the temperature of the water in the bottom of the tub this way: Remove the silverware basket and
place a candy or meat thermometer in the water towards the middle of the tub. If the temperature is less than 120”F,you will not get good washing results. Higher water temperature is needed to dissolve grease and activate powder detergents. If the unit is a long way from the DW you may need to let the water run in the sink until hot before starting the DW....or if is a cold day and water has not been used in a while the pipes could be cold....also if you have just used the hot water ( washer, shower...etc) give it time to recover first before using DW....All of the above mentioned material is straight out of the Users guide...but you may have an element that is going out also...so check the temp of your water and open it during the drying cycle to see if it is hot or at least warm inside...if not your element may need to be replaced...

I hope this helps...have a great day & good luck...please rate my effort.... the Fang.

My bosch dishwasher will not dry the dishes

this dw to save energy works this way- the final rinse will reach a temp of 161 F . the dishes have to absorb this heat. when the cycle is complete the dishes become a heater in themselves radiating the heat they absorbed during the final 161 F heat. If you have any tupperware or plastic dishes in the unit they will not absorb heat therefore not radiate the 161 f temp need to dry all the dishes. try to avoid plastic items and they must always have jet dry. this is the european way of conserving energy. on the old ge or whirlpool they had electric element in the bottom that would bake the dishes dry ....not these..but they do save alot of energy.. it helps right after a cycle to crack the door open release all the steam from the unit

Dishwasher not drying

Same problem here. I read the manual very carefully. "OptiDry", "ExtraDry", "EcoDry", "condensation drying" -- lots of fancy words to cover the simple fact -- they DO NOT DRY the dishes. There is no heating element. I wish they would just state this up-front. Air drying the dishes for 24 hours after each wash is not workable for most users...
