The TV might need a soft reset which is unplugging the power cord for 60 seconds and plug back. Try that, Or the worse case is that the MAIN BOARD inside the set needs replacing which I just did an online search and found none available.

Make sure that your audio input is the good one that corespond to your video input. After that if the audio input is good, try to disconnect all your video wire and reconnect it,check if the blue and green wire are not swap or try to used an HDMI wire if your DVD have a blug like that. Or if it not possible try to change your input on your tv set.
