Unlock sidekick3 for cingular

Hello,
if you do a web search you will find several similar requests, including one here at fixya: http://www.fixya.com/support/t266497-sidekick_3_unlock_code_or_unlock

Summing the info up, you will most likely need to pay someone a small fee to unlock it for you. I would suggest ebay if you decide to go this route.
KEEP IN MIND, however, that data will only work on T-mobile (the danger APN's are set up that way). You will only be able to use voice and text on cingular. This is worse than you think, as the sidekick stores all of it's information remotely. Therefore, with an unlocked sidekick, anytime the phone is turned off it will loose all of it's information, such as its address book.
I highly suggest you return the phone unless your wife would like to switch carriers. Does your wife like chocolate? :)

Ok...do u have T-Mobile???if so if you ahve had the account for 3 MONTHS you tell them that you are going to Europe for 2 weeks and you need the unlock code so u can use it over there..they will give it to you for FREE so u dont have to pay for it...btw the Sidekick 3 is for T-Mobile and they lock their data side...so you might not beable to use the internet on it if u put it on cingular
