The phone keeps saying searching for a network

remove the sim card and start the phone, keep it on for 10 seconds, switch it off, remove the battery and again keep it off for 10 seconds. Install the sim and switch it on. Hope it will help. Make sure the network searching mode is selected to automatic

Try to reset it to factory settings, if it does not help upgrade the firmware or if you recently upgraded the firmware downgrade it.

you might have a signal issue. chk with some other phone near you who is using the same network if they have good signal. if they do take your phone to a samsung reapir shop. if you have warranty then take it to the agent for free repair ( during warranty period)

you can try the network selection option in setting menu,,in setting menu select the network selection after query select the home network or provided network ...and confirm it...

The solution to this problem is that your network may not be supported by the MHZ's each network is differant and if it is a 850 mhz then it is not comp.

If it is continueing to search for a network. Wanna make sure you have the correct simcard for the carrier in your phone. And it is in the phone correctly. Maybe the phone is NOT completely unlocked. If that all works, check your network in the phone.

2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select Network.
4. Scroll to and select Network Setup.
5. Scroll to Type and select Change.
6. Scroll to and select AUTOMATIC

SAVE. Besure once a day to power down the for about 10-20 seconds a day.

Try to manually define the network by going to Main menu - Settings - Connectivity - Cellular networks - Search Mode - Manual - there, choose the right network.
