Three blinking lights on rear projection tv

Had a projection tv on all day. went into other room and came back. tv was off with three blinking lights. tried to turn tv back on. tv looked like it was going to power up but it only lit the far green lamp light. light kept blinking and nothing happened. tv reset itself and tried to power up three more times on it's own but no luck. it's a rear projection tv btw. does this mean the lamp needs to be replaced? also, we were having a bad storm so could that have had anything to do with it. i'm going to turn everything off including the power strip for the night and see what happens tomorrow.

Picture went out and red light on the front by power button is blinking. When I turn TV on I can hear sound but no picture,, then TV turns off automatically after a few seconds.

Hi,
It seems problem with low screen voltage to three picture tubes in this rear projection tv.
If standby light blinks 5 times after three seconds long pause then adjust screen volts of each picture tube to solve this issue.
Screen volt adjustment requires expertise and job of professional so please call local tv repairman to help you.

Sony kp65ws500 when you turn tv on green light comes on for a few seconds and then shuts off. thought the green tube went bad so replaced with new green tube and it still does the same thing.

power light if it shuts down should blink a error code--count the blinks and a pause?

I replaced the lamp bulbs and the TV worked fine for awhile but shut off after about three days of use. I unplugged it and waited awhile to plug it back in the timer light blinked for awhile and then went...

While it is suspicious happening so soon after lamp replacement, your main power supply may have failed. In earlier sets, these were problems that eventually happened.

Will not reset

Please verify Model number off back of set ! .........critical
for correct solution............For example...if your model # ends
with...13, then you will need to replace four capacitors in DM
module...1000mf 25v 105 degree.....if my guess is not correct,
the solution will be different.........................T.
