Denon AVR 3806 - No Power

I've had it for 2 years without problems. I woke up this morning and the unit was dead. No lights, nothing. I've tried all basic solutions such as power cord, outlet...etc.

Any suggestions?

I have the exact same problem, and about the same age (2 yrs). I already took the top off an inspected all of the fuses, there does not seem to be any that are blown. All wires look in good shape, no corrosion. Any ideas? I'll be pretty p'd if this died after only 2 years for what I spent for it.

Reading the post my problem is similar but I not sure the same. I get the standby light to stay on but I don't get anything on the display screen or any picture or sound. Is this a fuse?
    Thanks,

Make sure the control feature is disabled on both units so that they are not trying to send control signals to each other.

Secondly make sure your input is configured to hdmi for both audio and video within the receivers on screen menu The receiver usually auto senses the digital audio signal but doesn't automaticly know that it should use hdmi for video.

Denon AVR-3806 keeps losing video signal. The audio signal is still good. What could be the problem?

If your using HDMI, pull it from the receiver and run directly to the TV, then run optical or digital coaxial to your receiver. It's referred to in the industry as a "Handshake" issue. It has to do with firmware and hardware of your receiver and continuous ridiculous updates from the recording industry to protect copyright. Hope this helps. If you still have issues, post a comment and I will help you troubleshoot further.

My Denon AVR 3806 keeps turning itself off, why?

Your receiver has short circuit somewhere. The protection circuit shut off the unit to prevent more damage. You can try to disconnect all speakers. If there is not improvement, you need to send your receiver to repair.
