have the lag bolts been removed in the back - the ones used to stabilize the drum in transit?

Select POWER/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle.
Select DRAIN & SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer.
Re-select cycle and press START/PAUSE.
If the problem remains, schedule service.*

your bearings and seal need to be replaced.

It's usually a control board problem. sorry for the bad news :(

I had the same rattling during spin cycle of my Maytag 4000 series front loading washer. Noticed you could gently pull back on the rubber gasket between the tub and where the door seals. There was a quarter resting against the fixed ring the tub spins in. Problem solved. And I have further realized that long hair can build up in this same spot. But if you didn't know to pull back on the gasket you wouldn't see it. Good luck!

you have a broken coupler...this is a plastic and rubber part that connects the motor to the transmission.  A $20 part

sounds to me like there is a short in the wiring or control board i would call the warranty company to come fix it

being it is in warranty its too early for you to fix it yourself.
you will have to wait for them to come out and say the parts are on backorder.
