Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. By looking at the resistors you can see if they are burned or brown color. Only the resistors with small value blow(getting open) like 1 ohm 1/4 watt or 1 ohm 1/2 watt or 10 ohm 1/2 , 1/4 watt some times the bigger one like 100 ohms, the bigger than 100 ohm just changing the value and make problem.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

My KICKER amp KX200.2 has a resistor blown out it is R17 i will like to know the specific resistance so i can replace it

If you look closely at the color bands on the resistor. That will tell you what resistor you need to replace. All resistors are standardized color coded. You can find out the resistance online. Hope this helps.

Fan on the ac stopped working. Were is the resistor located.

I can't tell you where is the resistor but usually at maximum speed the switch bypass the resistor pack since there is no need of resistor at full speed, so if the fan stop completely, there is a good chance the fan is blown if it is not working at full speed.

Take a voltmeter and test for voltage at the fan connector with the speed fan switch on, you will be able to test all speed and if you do have voltages the fan is just dead.

Need to identify blown resister r-531 on main amplifier board

How do you know it is specifically that resistor? I suppose you have schematics or something that is telling you R531 may be an issue. If a resistor is blown it will likely be black or discolored somehow.

Blown Resistor

because the phone will not work, first prove that it can. Try this: remove the battery and charge it. Read the voltage on the battery label. Read the voltage on the charger label. If the numbers match, then connect 2 wires to the battery from the charger (use tape) with positive terminals on one wire and negatives the other. after charge...about 2 hours, does the phone work?

Resistor on power supply board

Dear Biigjohn, First, first C613 means that it is a capacitor, not a resistor. And It seems to be a electrolytic Capacitor. If it has burst, then it's can will be inside. just search. the details of the Capacitor will be on it. most likely it will be a 10mfd 160V capacitor. Check and replace.
