New Primea Touch Plus

After two days of using Primea Touch Plus does not make a milk cream but only hot milk (no cream or very weak). After the installation the cream was excellent. I use still the same kind of milk and keep the cappucinator always cleaned. Any ideas?

It's impossible to set the milk temperature in menu. After many testing I found that the problem could be just with the temperature, because if I run milk cleaning process, which takes about 7 minutes, then (when the pipes are hot) the capuccinator works like a charm. I'm affraid I will have to visit Saeco service :-/

I have the same problem - if it is a problem and not a design fault!!
I have the Primea Touch (not the Touch Plus).

The 2nd cup is always hotter.

Short of putting the cappuccino into the microwave for a few secs I can't find anything on the net to help. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Hi All,

I have the same isse like shallowhal has: primea touch plus produces only hot milk instead of milk cream (or very-very weak cream). I played a bit with temp in service menu but there is no major change. Could you please tell me your current settings for following paramteres (they could have impact on milk cream quality):
    plus + duo: hot milk
    steam pressure time: ?
    pulse length: ?
    pulse period: ?

    Many thanks for your support!

    Kind regards,

    Zsolt

    Hello!!
Okay! Looks like many of you out there has the same problem, whit the milk temerature (not me i never had).
But there is a service menu on primea touch plus series.
Im from Sweden but i will try my best to explain how to enter the menu. First of all !!MUST!! write down off parameters before changing any thing!!!! It is possible to set the grinder to grin more coffie for each cup. I think the factory setting is 85 Aroma impulse. It is possible to change that for you type of coffie beans that you use, i will diff from bean to bean.

Okay, to enter the menus you have to turn you machines off.
Now turn it on !!!!!EXACTLY!!!!! when the display lights up press your display in the following order ALWAYS IN THE CORNERS (you will not see any icons were you have to touch on you display) RIGHT LOWER CORNER, LEFT UPPER CORNER, RIGHT UPPER CORNER, LEFT LOWER CORNER.

To enter the second service menu, do as i explained before but use this "CODE" instead. LEFT UPPER CORNER, RIGHT UPPER CORNER, LEFT LOWER CORNER, RIGHT LOWER CORNER. This is it! Hope i could help you! Remeber to write down before doing any changes! DO NOT ERASE ANY FAULT CODES YOU SERVICE CENTER WILL FIND THAT INFORMATION VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

Dont say that it didnt work, it will it´s a huge matter of timing!!!! IT WILL WORK!!!!

Let me know some results please!!

    Hello!

Im glad to see things works out fine for you!

Just want to give a tip.

If you look in the grinding menu "settings" from the service menu, you will find a menu called something like Impulses whit Aroma. Std setting in my machine were 85, i changed to 115. Works fine with my type of beans. The only thing that might happend if you choose a value that is to high is that the machine will stop the brewing and go out to the start screen again. Just like it dose when you add to much prebrewed coffie. What you do when you change the grinder setting is. You change the time that the grinder are spinning. It mean you will have a lot more beans for each cup of coffie you brewing. Please have a look at the coffie "pods" they should look like "hockey pucks" hard and solid, in the "trash can" on the machine. You may have to "fine tune" that setting when you change bean type.

It is easy to do and it´s worth it big time! ;)

To make milk hotter and frottier the only solution so far is to reduce the flow of the milk, the steam temperature to **** milk is already 145'C. Perhaps you can restrict the flow of the milk?
It works for me.

Hi,

The only way to adjust the temperature is in the service menu, you have to take it to a Saeco service center to fix it.

On the menu the Temp (both milk and water) can only be set as Low-Med-High. Any idea if there's an internal setting that can make the water/milk hotter.

Cheers

Use the Service Menus as 0505 from Sweden has suggested.

    This solves any problems.

Saeco Primea Touch

If you use the milk feature, please make sure that you rinse after making a milk drink or the machine will automatically request a milk cleaning cycle which is different than a rinse. For example if you make a milk drink and you skip the rinse cycle and leave the machine without rinsing for more than 20 minutes it will schedule a mandatory milk cleaning cycle.

It is okay to skip milk rinsing if you are making drink after drink as long as you rinse after the last cup.

Hope this helps you out.
