The dryer will not start when you push the switch. Have checked the plug and power at the box. It sounds like the clock on the setting is working, but nothing happens when you push the button

Try this simple test. As the door opens or closes you should hear a muffled click of a switch. If you don't hear that click when the door is just ready to close or just opens the door switch or actuating arm has failed.

The dryer wont show any sign of power. The plug works fine

Hi,

Press and hold start button for 4-5 seconds.Make sure that the start button has been fully pushed down or turned far enough to activate the dryer.

After that plug something else into the same outlet. If it works, you know you have power to the dryer. If it doesn’t work, you’ll need to check for any blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers.

If the power is there, you need to check door switch, thermal fuse, thermostats, and start switch to see if one of these is faulty.
Make sure that the control settings are appropriate, and that any buttons are fully depressed.

Good Luck and have a nice day.

Dryer will not turn on. makes slight buzzing sound when button is pushed. Light goes on, power is on.

Sounds like the motor is gone. Try opening the door and pushing the door swithch inside the dryer door cavity. This may take two people but while holding the door switch, push the start switch and turn the dryer drum at the same time.(in a clock direction) If the dryer starts it means the moter is shot.

This could be your start switch has gone out. That is what it sounds like to me.

No sound whatever

when you switch the unit on make sure that you hear two clicks, this will tell you whether the protection relay is working. Should you hear the two clicks this will indicate that the audio ic`s are working. There are fuses inside the main component box, four on the transformer. Let me know the outcome
