I have new RCA model VHP141 Headphones but will not work with my new Vizio TV. Where do I plug them in the TV?

Some VIZIO TVs have a headphone jack built in. You can determine if your television has a built in headphone jack by looking in the user's manual in the specification section which is normally located towards the end of the manual.

Unfortunately, you can't connect Bluetooth speakers to this TV. You can connect a wired sound bar, home theater sound system (receiver and speakers) or wireless headphones with a wired based station (RCA or digital audio input from the TV's audio out). These wireless systems use RF or Bluetooth signals to the headphones. I wish that I had better news for you. You may be able to find an audio receiver that supports Bluetooth. However, these usually are Bluetooth devices, the same as the Bluetooth headphones. They can't pair and send a signal to your headphones.

1. Plug the stereo audio cable into the headphone jack of your audio
source (e.g., stereo, TV, CD player, DVD, etc.). If your audio source
has two RCA output jacks instead of a headphone jack, use the
supplied Y cable to connect your headphones to the two (red and
white) RCA jacks.
2. Connect the other end of the stereo audio cable to the AUDIO IN
socket at the back of the recharging cradle/transmitter.
3. Connect the AC/DC main power adapter to the DC IN power
supply socket at the back of the recharging cradle/transmitter. Then,
connect the adapter to an electrical outlet.
Important: This power unit is intended to be correctly oriented in a
vertical or floor mount position.

Well I just plugged into the cable box and that worked. On my old tv as well as my newer one the only audio out was an optical I had bought an optical splitter (one input for my sound bar and the other one to the optical to Rca) and an optical to rca for the headphones. This allowed me to use the headphones on all things going through the tv. For some strange reason it no longer works that way (just got my new tv this week). I bought all pieces on Amazon for a nominal cost. I'm going to doublecheck all connections again tomorrow.

You can purchase wireless headphones at most electronic retailers. They will connect to the stereo RCA outputs on the back of the TV. Then you just turn the volume down on the TV. I hope this was helpful, best wishes.

Yes. 2 possibilities:
1 - the new tv has a headphone jack - just plug them in.
2 - no headphone jack - buy a RCA to phone jack adaptor, plug it in the audio line out RCA connectors, plug the headphones into it and mute the tv.

If that doesn't work make sure

• The headphones and headset are on the same channel (like 1).
  
• the transmitter is on and working (Power: GREEN LIGHT)
• the headset is on and working (GREEN LIGHT)
• the headset is receiving a signal (St: GREEN LIGHT).
