Hell I have a 52" Westinghouse Flat Pannel TV about 1 yr old. Yesterday while watching, the screen went black. Sound still working. Attaching another flat screen TV to the same HDMI line produced a good picture. Tried all HDMI connections into the TV with no luck. NOW here is the bug story. With NOTHING attached to the TV (no input) and powered on I get NO menues at all. NOTHING on the screen. NO response to the MODE selectors or side controls = NO DISPLAY OR MENUs. ANY ideas ?? If I were you and I didn't have any experience in repairing these kinda sets ;-( then the first thing I would do is call a repairman in my area and take a estimate over the phone by letting him know what the issue is. I believe the cost to get this fixed might be around $200 depending on the parts that need to be replaced or may be more depending on your area.
