SOURCE: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T5 "C:13:01 Format Error"

I had the same problem, you can solve this by:
1. Push the card multiple times in/out the slot or
2. Use a little bit of contact spray on a small piece of tissue, rap this in the length around the memory card just 1 time. Be carefull not to make it to thick that it get stuck in the slot. Then push the card multiple times in/out the slot or
3. Cut a small strip of waterproof sanding paper (grain: 400 or more - the surface feels just like paper, and is just a thin as paper) just as wide as the card or slot. Cut a strip of plastic (eg.old credit card) also just as wide as the card or slot. Rap the sanding paper in the length of the strip and insert this in and out the slot. But!! ... make sure you stay at the upper side of the contacts, don't worry just do it carefully, don't use force and sand the contacts a couple of times. This way work for me, finally!!

SOURCE: Error message: Reinsert the Memory Stick"

The problem is with the memory card. It probably just shorted internally and is no longer useful. The amount of memory is not the problem, as I used a 4GB card for a long time and my card finally went bad. You will just have to get another memory card and MAYBE find someone to be able to retrieve your data.

How can I solve my sony cyber shot camera modal DSC W630 is shows error as C13:01

This error indicates a memory problem.
The camera can't read or write data to the memory card. Try turning off and on the camera again, or take out and reinsert the memory card several times. Also remove and reinsert the battery.
It also can mean the memory card is not formatted, or there is a format error for an other reason. Format the internal memory or the memory card.
It also could mean the memory card is damaged and can't be used any more. Then you have to place a new memory card.

I hope something will help.
This is also in you user manual.

Hi - I am getting an error message when i switch on my Sony Cybershot dsc t9 saying access and then it flashes format error C13.01 - can you advise how to resolve?

It might be due to a bad contact of the placed memorycard.

1. Pull the memorycard out and in the camera several times and retry.
2. If not OK, format the card in the camera. If that does not work, format it in the computer.
3. Try another memorycard and recheck.

Just bought a 16gb sony memory stick pro duo magicgate mark2 memory card for my sony t900 digital camera. pluging in the memory card it says reinsert card and a error code c:13:01 can u help

Hello. There several causes for this error code from bad card to bad camera. Some of the Chinese cards are counterfiet copys and could be a problem. Try rubbing the contacts on the card with a pencil eraser to clean them up. wipe with a clean cloth and try again. Try the card in someone elses camera to see if it works. Leave a message here if it still doesn't work , I'll look around some more.
