Limit incoming/outgoing kids text messaging

LG Rumor 2 cell phone question:

Settings – More – Restrict & Lock – Limit Calls – Incoming & Outgoing

I would like to limit incoming/outgoing text messaging for my kids to only those on their contact list - but activating “Contacts Only” doesn’t seem to wok?

7 day free trial for your services shouldn't cost me the aggravation of providing my VISA Card # and then fighting to undo the charge for free service offered. No - I haven't solved problem of new phone just purchased.

Block text messages

Log into your Sprint account on the web,

Click the "SMS Messaging" link in My Online Tools, then click the "Settings & Preferences" link in Text Messaging Options.

If that doesn't help, just call Sprint (or whoever your carrier is) customer service and they can turn off incoming SMS messages.

I need to block incoming calls to my LG 260 cell phone.

You go to settings and security. You'll need your code though (which should be the last 4 digits of your cell number, unless you changed the lock code already) and then play around with the options, and there is an option to block them.
