the power supply is not working fine. your tv needs preventive service so that semiconductor, diodes and capacitors are changed on the power supply before it switches off completely on its own.
do it fast
okay
It is the lamp, go to bestbuy.com and at the bottom look for orderparts. this is a third part vendor that has many aftermarket parts to replace manufacturers. They might have a replacement bulb in there for you. They usually run $250 or so but vary per manufacturer
take off the lamp access door on the back and find the safety switch that the door pushes on. unplug the connector from the switch and put staple into the connector to short out the cable. Switch is probably bad. worked for me. same problem.
the lamp which you rteplaced is not seated properly.and also it can be the problem of colour wheel or the ballast.to check out all three just check out this links 1 by 1

Hi Rickpo:
After installing the $11 kit and the additional $13 kit recommended by (http://preher-tv.blogspot.com/2010/01/samsung-hpt4254-no-power-repaired.html) mostly surface mount diodes (also available on Ebay), the Samsung HP-T4254 came back on, but would only play for 4 minutes. I found DX801 flowing both directions, replaced it with a diode from Fry's. Works great, $26 total repair costs :-)
