I have a nokia 6126, I am trying to forward an audio text message with a picture attached to someone else, but the forward line is a lighter shade than delete or reply etc.. do I not have the ability to forward this text message to someone else. thanks

this is not really a problem but understanding should be clear:
Multimedia Messaging Service(MMS)

MMS is a descendant of SMS (Short Messaging Service). MMS extends text messaging to include longer text, graphics, photos, audio clips, video clips, or any combination of the above, within certain size limits.

MMS is frequently used to send photos and videos from camera phones to other MMS phones or email accounts. Most camera phones have MMS, but many non-camera phones have it as well.
if it has a photo, video or audio it will automatically be categorize as MMS
While SMS stands for short message service. SMS is also often referred to as texting, sending text messages or text messaging. The service allows for short text messages to be sent from one cell phone to another cell phone or from the Web to another cell phone. purely text:

Open your text window for whoever you're going to text. Press the menu button (4 horizontal lines) and press the "attach" option. This will let you attach a sound, picture, or video file stored on your phone. There is a size limit to the files you send.

You should be able to send a text message with the picture attached to an email address.

to send a multimedia message/text message w. picture attached:
-find the actual picture you want to send on your phone and select it
-then hit your "menu" or "options" button, which should give you an option to send/share the picture
-select text message or multimedia message (MMS)
-in the "to" line for the text message, enter the email address you'd like to send it to
-hit "send"

dear its ear piece of mobile adjustment is a little bit disturbed..

have you tried the forward icon? try it..... forward to MMS and you can send it..

Are you certain you have a strong GPRS signal? Have you tried turning the phone off for a few moments and then back on, and also make sure you have good signal strength at the time you are trying to send an MMS.

 It could be due to network problems as well - the few times I've experienced it, it has lasted for several days and then it has been fine after that.

reset your phone to factory settings!
Just go to settings....factory settings......then just type 12345 for the sec code.

On my 6136 it won't do it due to a software bug. I wonder if it does the same thing for the same reason on a 6126.

Have you tried the toner cartridge?? IF not please do so. Failing this clean out the middle of the machine with a dry cloth as you may have loose toner in there. Try this if it doesn't work then the laser unit may have a fault.

dck2's solution worked for me on my razr, I opened the text message, went to "copy all text", went to "Create Message", chose "New Multimedia Message," went to "Paste," and then sent it to my email address, and the entire message went to email, including the date.
