My problem is a horizontal amplifier problem, When I turn the TV on I get a scrolling of the horizontal pic but still have sound. How can I repair this? Is there a horizontal adjustment on the back panel? I did find one that adjusts the brightness just to the right of the terminal block on the back of the set. Please advise on this.

This sound like the standard Mitshubisi PIP board problem. There are two ways to adress this one is to repair the board, this involves replacing surface mounted capacitor and is about %80.00 sucsessful. The other is to simply bypass this board. this option is the way to go, it involves installing two capacitor on the main board and fixes the main pix but kills the Picture in Picture (PIP) I will send off both these repairs to your E-mail

I have a mitsubishi cs-26ex1 tv and the parental code is set but I dont have the original remote or a user manual to reset the code. How can I unlock the tv?

well first lets narrow this down so the tv is already holding a code you will need the old code to re-enter a new 1 okay if the code is known you may be able to set with the menu button goto pc option try to use the channel up and down and volume see if this will help now lost remote may try a universal remote make sure it has the menu option on it ,also when entering code numbers some have over 5 or so codes okay the tv may respond to 1 code but not let you use the menu so try each code also if you cant remember the code its not to good you will have probally no choice to take to tv shop okay good luck shad

Mitsubishis TV Problem

have a Mitsubishi TV 1993. Model CS-35301. The problem is that there is a white line that is running through a blank screen. The sound is fine just no picture. Have you heard of "Vertical Collapse?" I would love to save the TV. Hi nothing to worry just minimise brightness to avoid screen burn. "Vertical Collapse?" means one bright hor.line in the middle of screen. this problem can be solved 1 check vertical yoke connector or wire loose 2 check supply to vertical section which normally comes from EHT transformer check components in vertical section or print loose regards thanks

Mitsubishi cs-26ex1

If your set has Picture in Picture, I would say your problem is with the PIP module. if it does not have PIP then the problem is most likly in the video switching or the video processor Printed circuit board. if you know anything about solid stae serviceing, there is a modification I will include here for the PIP as the module is no longer available and has to be jumped out of the curcuit.. Good Luck. Follow the picture and instuctions to the "T" PS please do not forget to rate this thread
