I can't say specifically if they do or do not; but from my experience JVC uses a lot of similar codes. Even DVD players made by Rotel were re-badged JVCs that used the same codes.

If you suffer from region code troubles, you can download a region free DVD player software tool on your pc and then you can play discs of any regions you want. You can try Leawo Blu-ray Player which is a free Blu-ray player and a region free player.
Unplug it and wait 5min plug it back in and sometines it will work, I have three units they all do the same thing , with two of them the unpluging no longer works. I can't find anyone who knows whats wrong either
I have an Alba RDVD1002 I accidently put it to factory settings now it will not tune in or play any dvd's or record anything, when I put in the manufactorers password it does not accept it
